We are seeking a Senior Engineer specialising in Roads and Highways to join our esteemed engineering firm in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key technical leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure in the region, leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

• Lead and oversee the design and implementation of complex road and highway projects throughout the UAE and wider Middle East region
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Develop cutting-edge solutions for transportation infrastructure challenges, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with local UAE and international design standards and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
• Conduct thorough technical reviews and quality assurance checks on project deliverables, demonstrating keen attention to detail
• Contribute to business development efforts and proposal writing, showcasing analytical and visionary thinking
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in road and highway engineering, driving innovation within the organisation
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM Infrastructure projects

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in road and highway engineering, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects
• Advanced knowledge of road and highway design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• In-depth understanding of UAE and international road and highway design standards and regulations
• Expertise in sustainable and innovative road construction techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior engineers
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Experience in delivering BIM Infrastructure projects and ability to liaise with multi-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of local UAE road design standards and regulations
• Experience working on projects in the Middle East region
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required
