Senior FPGA Designer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior FPGA Designer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:

• Take on the responsibility for development and testing of complex VHDL/Verilog projects in FPGAs


• Proficiently drive projects from studies and simulations to implementation and testing, including documentation


• Actively contribute to innovative and efficient development processes to ensure our future success


• Support the evaluation and introduction of control boards and platforms


• Ensure customer satisfaction through sporadic troubleshooting and support of customer projects


• Designing, simulating, coding and verifying FPGA projects for software defined radio applications


• Developing and optimizing of digital signal processing algorithms


• Carry out timing analysis of large high-speed FPGA designs

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or higher in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or similar


• Proven track record in VHDL or Verilog programming for FPGA


• Proficiency in scripting languages: tcl, bash
  


• Proficiency in Python is a strong plus
  


• Working with RF test equipment is a plus


• Experience with embedded devices is a plus


• 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience

• Team spirit with the capacity to work independently, complemented by a quick intellect and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills


• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure


• Good level of spoken and written English language (upper-intermediate)
