Senior Legal Counsel

Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensure all legal documentation, fund/DPM structures, and investment contracts comply with UAE and international regulations
• Work closely with compliance, risk, and finance teams to assess legal risks
• Lead interactions with regional and international regulators
• Develop legal frameworks to enhance governance and legal compliance
• Support dispute resolution and litigation matters related to investments and corporate governance. Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM)
• Fund Management, Technology, International Risk and Compliance

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of asset management regulations in the UAE, GCC, and international markets (including discretionary portfolio management (DPM) and fund management.
• Robust understanding of legal and regulatory compliance
• Ability to manage litigation, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation strategies
• Team leadership and cross-team collaboration
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to advise senior management and board members.
