Job Description - Senior Manager - Construction

Fully accountable for the budgetof construction resources allocated for theproject.
The CM works to a 6 month look aheadschedule and supports the construction contractors by removingconstraints, assist in the development of their constructionschedule, agrees to a construction sequence (path of construction),and confirms that the contractors have the materials, engineeringdeliverables, tools, and resources required for successfulexecution and complete delivery within the required timeframe.
Follow up the mobilization, sitestaffing, heavy lift sequencing, fabrication scope, laydownrequirements, equipment and fabricated items delivery sequencing,equipment and tool requirements, demobilization,etc.
Verify the Subcontractor’sexecution plan at an early stage and approve only if it aligns withPetrofac deliverables (documents andmaterials).
Challenge Subcontractor for a moreefficient execution plan in line with schedule, safety and qualityrequirements.
Participates in project modelreviews and constructability reviews and provide necessaryinputs.
Conducts Kickoff meeting withsub-contractor and review/approve all subcontractordocumentation.
Prepare 90 days and 3-weekslook-ahead plans and implements work in agreedsequence.
Generates regular progress reportsfor review by project management.
Monitorssubcontractor’s performance and contributes to projectevaluation and close-out reports.
Strongadvocate for quality construction installations and ensuring thatthings are constructed in the right way, the first time, inadherence to project and corporate quality assurance policies andprocedures.
Manage the construction teamcreating an atmosphere of cooperation and teamspirit.
Capable to find solutions for all SiteTechnical Queries raised by subcontractors andresolve.
Maintains good working relations withsubcontractors and client throughout theproject.
Coordinates with Completions team andhandover completed work in agreedsequence.
Capable to provide constructioninputs to proposals team.
Prepare for Hook upCampaign during execution phase well ahead of theloadout.
