Responsible for co-developing and implementing the marketing strategy to drive demand for products through the internal teams, agencies, and retailer efforts, across the Middle East, Africa, and India.

Regional and local retailer implementation and activation of the centrally developed brand initiatives, to ensure a consistent level of brand understanding.

Strategic planning and implementation of the Public Relations plan for the region and management of the Communications agency in collaboration with the central PR team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

REGIONAL MARKETING

Determine and prepare regional and local market marketing plans in close consultation with the Head of Marketing, Regional Managers and Retailers across the Middle East, India, and Africa.

Co-appointment and management of the regional marketing agencies: Keko, PHD, and Noble Events.

Co-ordination of Push to Pull strategy for Middle East, Africa, and India, utilising centrally developed programmes, and retailer coaching.

Manage event agencies for key activities within the region, including motor shows, launches and key global activities.

Manage the central purchase process.

Co-management and monitor budget spend throughout the year aligned with objectives.

REGIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS

Development and implementation of communications plan in MEAI to maximize brand positive press coverage across social media, Automotive, Lifestyle & Business media.

Act as a company spokesperson and representative for MEAI markets and first point of contact for crisis management activation.

Strategic and organisational dealer support for local & regional media activities according to market needs.

Responsible for all regional fleet vehicle ordering, specifications, and utilisation plan.

Agency recruitment, briefing & management: Performance Communications.

RETAILER MARKETING

Quarterly development of marketing toolkits, implementation, and auditing in order to control retailer marketing to support our brand strategy.

Ensure retailer marketing activity is planned, delivered, reported monthly and effectively analysed in line with prospect and sales targets.

Ensure all retailers submit quarterly marketing plans that are tracked, approved, and audited in terms of financial spend, activity completion, and evaluation.

New product launch planning (management of launch activities at retailer level- launch tours), tactical marketing planning, development, and production of retailer marketing tools.

Ensure the objectives of central and regional campaigns are reflected within the retailer marketing plans and activities.

Ensure that retailers operate within brand guidelines, in relation to all marketing activity.

Manage, monitor, and report the retailer margin file requirements.

Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Previous Marketing experience, operating at a regional, retailer, or marketing agency level.

Proven record of creating and implementing marketing & communications plans that are measurable and achieve business objectives.

Previous experience of developing media campaigns, event concepts, managing events and delivering against clear KPI s.

Ability to manage agency relations and knowledge of agencies processes.

Excellent communications abilities (verbal, presentation, listening and written).

Planning, organizational and operation skills.

Decision making and problem solving.

Strong project management.

Willing to travel within the Middle East, Africa, and India as and when required.

PRACTICAL & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Proven record of accomplishment in effective retail marketing and retailer relations.

Understanding of automotive retail operations and practices.

Understanding of legal, compliance guidelines reference advertising and communication of the brand.

Knowledge of experiential, social and paid media planning, implementation, and review against KPI s.

Knowledge of journalism and media relations including automotive, lifestyle and business.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Equivalent (Preferred).

A Postgraduate qualification from a professional marketing institution (for example Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Chartered Institute of Marketing) or Masters in Marketing (Preferred).
