Reporting To Network Infrastructure Manager / IT Infrastructure Lead

Location Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras al Khaimah, Fujairah

1. Role Summary

Network Engineer will be responsible for implementing, administering, monitoring, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure, network security, wireless solutions, IP telephony, contact center technologies, and cloud networking services. The role focuses on maintaining high availability, performance, reliability, and security across on-premises and cloud environments while actively participating in infrastructure projects, technology upgrades, and operational

2. Key Responsibilities 2.1 Network Infrastructure Management

• Implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.


• Configure and support Cisco Catalyst switches.


• Strong understanding MPLS connectivity and troubleshooting


• Configure and manage Cisco ISR routers.


• Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network issues.


• Support enterprise routing and switching infrastructure


• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and configuration standards.

2.2 Network Security

• Configure and administer Fortinet Firewalls.


• Configure and support Palo Alto Firewalls. (Optional but preferred)


• Implement and maintain security policies, VPNs, NAT, IPS, and security profiles.


• Administer Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, and Forti Authenticator.


• Support cloud security integration for Azure and AWS.


• Participate in security audits and compliance activities.

2.3 Wireless Infrastructure

• Maintain enterprise wireless solutions.


• Conduct wireless site surveys.


• Support in wireless Access Points deployment and troubleshooting.


• Manage Guest Wireless Portals access.


• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity and roaming issues for clients


• Support in optimizing wireless performance and security.

2.4 Network Management Platforms

• Administer Cisco Prime Infrastructure.


• Manage Cisco Catalyst Center.


• Monitor enterprise network health and performance.


• Perform firmware upgrades and lifecycle management.

2.5 Network Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor enterprise infrastructure using:




• SolarWinds


• PRTG Network Monitor




• Analyze network performance.


• Investigate alerts and incidents.


• Perform root cause analysis for outages.

4. Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

• Cisco CCNP Collaboration


• Fortinet NSE 4/5/6 or FCSS certifications

6. Experience Requirements

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration.


• Experience managing large-scale Cisco network environments.


• Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto firewalls.


• Experience supporting enterprise Cisco and Aruba wireless deployments.


• Experience with enterprise network monitoring platforms.


• Experience working in highly available, mission-critical environments such as healthcare, banking, government, or large enterprises.
