Senior Officer, Properties & Leasing (UAE National)

Job Purpose

• Support the FMA manager on overseeing outsourced services like cleaning, pest control, waste management, and office clerks to maintain a safe and pleasant work environment.
• This role is based the Support Service function. The Support Service function reports directly into the COO
• The COO function aims to become a best-in-class operating function in the bank, and this role plays a crucial part in enabling that purpose; the role will serve the whole bank at all locations

Job Accountabilities

• Accountability statement describing the result areas.
• Liaise with Central bank officials, police authorities and security consultants for the implementation of security systems as per the regulatory requirements across the bank premises. Develop plan and coordinate with all concerned and ensure timely installation and proper functioning of the security system at existing / new branches.
• Main point of contact for all enquiries with regulatory authorities for Trade License requirements
• Liaise with licensing authorities for obtaining/renewal of New Trade License for Head Office / Branches as per SLA and periodically submit the report as required.
• Coordinate and establish contact, relationship with Dubai Police, Security System Inspection Agency, Dept. of Economic Dev’t, Dubai Civil Defense, etc. as requirement for renewal of HO/Branches trade license
• To liaise with authorities in obtaining permission for various projects i.e. HO/branches and process annual subscription fees with Civil Defense for CBD buildings
• Liaise & follow-up with authorities through online registration for new branches, cash offices and offsite ATM.
• Liaise & follow-up with Econ. Dept. for permanent permit & yearly membership fees for new/old offsite ATM
• Ensure to process all related payments timely and follow up with Finance and leasing team or any concerned department that may have a dependent task that can delay the Trade license process or related activity handled.
• Handles tasks in absence of other Assistant Manager Property investment within the team

Qualifications

• Graduate or higher secondary education.
• Computer literate
• Analytical and review skills with the ability to draw the correct conclusions from reviews
• Time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business/function
• Ability to work professionally with various levels of staff and management, strong teamwork
• Excellent written & oral communication and presentation skills including the ability to deliver clear and accurate messages to management
• Sound judgment, keen sense of urgency and initiative, and high level of professional and personal integrity
• Good team player, with strong interpersonal skills
