Senior Product Engineer - Moodys Financial Risk Platforms

We are hiring a Senior Product Engineer for a strategic long-term opportunity with one of our prestigious banking clients in the UAE. The selected candidate will be based onsite in Dubai, working at the forefront of financial risk management and regulatory compliance initiatives.

This role involves end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Moody’s RiskConfidence and RiskAuthority platforms. You will play a critical role in the bank’s transformation journey, enabling accurate and timely financial reporting, capital management, and risk analytics in line with global and regional regulatory standards.

Education

• Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

Experience

• 5–7 years of experience in the Moody’s Platform (Moody’s RiskConfidence, Moody’s RiskAuthority)
• Extensive knowledge of product lifecycle management
• Hands-on Moody’s implementation and product configuration knowledge in Moody’s RiskConfidence and/or RiskAuthority
• Ability to create detailed functional specifications and design documentation
• Banking domain experience

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of Moody’s Product Architecture and configurations for RiskConfidence and RiskAuthority
• Detailed implementation knowledge of Moody’s applications, along with configuration and debugging
• Performance tuning and optimization of Moody’s Application suite
• Experience in best practices in Oracle (SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions) related to Moody’s applications
• ETL knowledge will be an added advantage

Functional Skills

• Experience in configuration, implementation, and support of IFRS9, FTP, and ALM in Moody’s RiskConfidence
• Experience in configuration, implementation, and support of Market Risk, CVA, CCR, Basel CR/OR, LCR/NSFR, etc. in RiskAuthority
• Good understanding of the banking domain and terminologies used in Risk and Finance
• Ability to create detailed functional specifications and design documentation
• Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organisation

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills with a positive and proactive attitude
• Self-motivated and capable of driving work independently while fostering collaboration across teams
• Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with senior IT and business stakeholders
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
