Job Description - Senior QS Costing - MEP

BG Global is hiring a Senior Engineer â QS Costing â MEP for a leading Tier 1 contracting company in Dubai, UAE. Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional with expertise in high-rise building projects to lead MEP quantity surveying, costing, estimation, and commercial activities across large-scale developments. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead quantity surveying and costing activities for MEP works across high-rise construction projects

-Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, tender documents, and quantity take-offs

-Monitor project budgets, variations, claims, and cost control activities to ensure commercial efficiency

-Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for costing and contractual matters

-Evaluate quotations, subcontractor pricing, and procurement costs to optimize project budgets

-Prepare project cost reports, payment certifications, and commercial documentation

-Ensure all commercial and costing activities comply with project standards and contractual requirements

-Support project planning and provide commercial recommendations to management teams

Requirements

-Bachelorâs Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E / B.Tech) is mandatory

-8â15 years of experience in QS Costing â MEP within the construction industry

-Mandatory experience in high-rise building projects in the UAE/GCC

-Strong knowledge of MEP quantity surveying, estimation, budgeting, and contract management

-Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and project specifications

-Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
