Job Purpose:
Plan, develop and implement comprehensive agile frameworks to streamline the delivery of software solutions ensuring alignment with industry standards and business objectives.
Core Job Responsibilities
Strategy, Policies & Procedures
- Support the Agile Lead in the adoption and implementation of agile methodologies for effective software development.
- Review agile delivery policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Deal confidentially with all information related to work to protect the interests of the company.
Agile framework
- Develop and refine agile frameworks aligned with relevant regulations and standards while meeting the organization's specific needs.
- Provide support in integrating agile principles into the organizational culture and processes by offering guidance, training and resources to team members and leaders.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and reviews.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and productivity of teams.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in agile practices.
Project Coordination
- Assist in planning, executing, and delivering agile projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Facilitate project planning and prioritization to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Ensure adherence to agile principles, such as iterative development, continuous integration, and frequent releases.
- Utilize agile project management tools and dashboards that align with the technical team's needs and preferences.
- Share the project dashboard with relevant stakeholders, such as product owners, managers, and clients ensuring they understand the information by offering guidance on how to interpret it.
- Monitor project risks and issues, and work with the Agile Lead to resolve them promptly.
- Schedule regular review meetings to discuss project progress, identify any issues or concerns and to discuss potential solutions.
Synergies with Stakeholders
- Work closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to integrate agile principles into all stages of the development lifecycle.
Other Tasks
- Perform any other responsibilities relating to this job request or work task as allocated by the Line Manager.
Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field with certifications in agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP))
Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in project management or software development, with at least 2 years in an agile delivery role.
