Position Overview

The Senior Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will lead complex surgical interventions in oral and maxillofacial procedures, providing expert clinical care and mentoring junior staff. This role demands a high level of surgical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a patient-focused approach within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced assessments of patients requiring surgical intervention in oral and dental health.
• Plan and perform complex surgical procedures including implants, reconstructive surgery, and orthognathic corrections.
• Oversee postoperative management and ensure optimal patient recovery and satisfaction.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior surgeons and dental staff.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of innovations in oral and maxillofacial surgery and integrate best practices into clinical care.

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with specialist certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Extensive experience in complex oral and dental surgical procedures, particularly in a private healthcare setting.
• Valid and active license to practice dental surgery in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide clinical teams.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
