SENIOR TECHNICIAN - FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEMS

1. Full awareness and ability to implement the Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Corrective Maintenance (CM) & Breakdown Maintenance (BD)2. Handle and service/test/Repair fire Sprinkler Systems and associated ZCV Alarm Check & other valves 3. Handle and service/test/Repair Fire Pumps Electrical Diesel Jockey and associated Valves & Fire Pump controllers. 4. Handle and service/test/Repair PreAction Systems & Deluge Systems (with associated Control Panel Detectors Compressor..etc.)5. Handle and service/test/Repair Fire Gas Suppression Systems (FM 200 Argon Inergen..Etc.) with associated Control Panel Detectors etc 6. Handle and service/test/Repair Kitchen Wet Chemical Suppression Systems 7. Handle and service/test/Repair Fire Hose reel Fire Hose Rack Standpipes Fire Dept connections. 8. Handle and service/test/Repair Foam Extinguishing Systems & related components Monitors Tanks pumps etc. 9. Handle and service/test/Repair Fire Hydrants and associated Pipes & valves 10. Ability to conform to all general and technical safety requirements always to ensure the health safety & welfare of self and others at work. 11. Any other work as assigned by the supervisor / duty engineer to achieve the purpose. 12. Can read interpret and describe the functionality of pipework schematics and system layout drawings. 13. Can correctly setup and use all related test equipment and interpret the test results. 14. Knowledge in the use & interpretation of NFPA UAEFC DCD codes Standards and Regulations

Requirements

1 Educational Certificate; preferably a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

2 Good Manners of English (both written and spoken)

3 Minimum 35 years of experience in the field.
