Service Technician - Elevators and Escalators

• Carry out preventive maintenance, measurements, and mechanical adjustments on elevator/escalator components such as car and landing doors, brake linings, etc.
  
• Efficiently execute maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks as per company standards.
  
• Use hand tools, measurement devices, ammeters, voltmeters, and elevator diagnostic tools; experience in testing and commissioning preferred.
  
• Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams; locate malfunctioning components like brakes, motors, switches, and control systems using test equipment.
  
• Proactively identify and replace parts before failure to prevent breakdowns.
  
• Attend multiple breakdowns and perform tasks under pressure.
  
• Adhere to all Sigma safety guidelines and report non-conformities to the Line Manager.
  

Requirements

• Higher Secondary education from an accredited institution
  
• Trade school and/or diploma in electrical or mechanical course (advantageous)
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician in the same industry
  
• UAE experience and driving license (advantages)
  
• Customer relationship skills
  
• Strong analytical and technical knowledge
  
• Proactive and result-oriented
