Site Supervisor Fit-out & Joinery

The Site Supervisor – Interior Fit-Out is responsible for supervising daily site activities, managing manpower, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that fit-out works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role requires strong site coordination skills to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion of interior fit-out works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily interior fit-out activities including partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, carpentry, and finishing works.
  
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed according to project schedules.
  
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, technicians, and site workers.
  
• Ensure all works are executed as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and technical instructions.
  
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other teams for smooth project execution.
  
• Check materials delivered to site and ensure proper handling, storage, and usage.
  
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with project standards.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections and report progress, issues, and delays.
  
• Ensure proper manpower allocation and productivity at site.
  
• Maintain daily site reports, work progress updates, and material records.
  
• Coordinate with MEP teams and other trades to avoid clashes and delays.
  
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and promote safe working practices.
  
• Assist in snagging, rectification works, and project handover activities.
  
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure site organization.
  
• Report technical issues, material shortages, and site challenges to the project team.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Interior Fit-Out, or related field.
  
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in interior fit-out projects.
  
• UAE/GCC experience in commercial, hospitality, retail, residential, or office fit-out projects preferred.
  
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction activities and finishing works.
  
• Good understanding of drawings, materials, and construction methods.
  
• Experience managing workers, subcontractors, and site activities.
  
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
  
• Knowledge of joinery, gypsum works, ceilings, flooring, painting, and finishing works
