Sommelier - Multiple Venues (Leading Hospitality Company)

Join a leading hospitality company in Dubai renowned for its portfolio of high-end, award-winning venues. This six-month seasonal position offers the opportunity to work with world-class wine programs and deliver exceptional service in some of the city’s most respected restaurants. The role is open exclusively to candidates based outside the UAE, with the potential to transition to a permanent position based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of wine service and cellar management in line with brand standards.
• Advise guests on wine selections to complement menu offerings and personal preferences.
• Conduct daily wine briefings and training sessions for service staff.
• Maintain accurate stock control, inventory, and supplier records.
• Support wine pairing initiatives and contribute to seasonal menu development.
• Ensure storage, rotation, and presentation of all wines meet venue standards.
• Deliver service with professionalism and in-depth product knowledge.

• 2–4 years’ experience as a Sommelier in fine dining or luxury hospitality venues.

• WSET certification (minimum Level 2) required.
• Fluent English essential; additional European language an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with guest-facing confidence.
• Deep understanding of wine regions, varietals, and food pairing principles.
• Presentable and professional appearance.

• AED 5,500/month (tax-free).

Additional Information

This is a six-month seasonal contract with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance. Multiple opportunities are available across the company’s fine dining and lifestyle venues. This role is open only to candidates based outside the UAE. Flights, visas, and medical expenses are fully covered for relocation.
