Position Summary 

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, optimizing sourcing processes, and ensuring premium product quality. You will work closely with the design, product development, and supply chain teams to bring innovative and high-quality activewear to life while ensuring efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Management & Negotiation
  
  
  
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers across China and other sourcing regions.
  
  
  • Negotiate costs, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms to optimize profitability.
  
  
  • Ensure strong relationships with manufacturers to maintain premium quality and timely deliveries.
  
  
  
  


• Product Sourcing & Development
  
  
  
  • Source high-quality materials and trims that align with SQUATWOLF’s performance and sustainability standards.
  
  
  • Partner with the design and product teams to ensure materials meet functional and aesthetic needs.
  
  
  • Monitor sampling and prototyping processes to guarantee design integrity and feasibility.
  
  
  
  


• Process Optimization & Cost Efficiency
  
  
  
  • mplement best practices to optimize the sourcing process and reduce costs without compromising quality.
  
  
  • Analyze supplier performance and explore new sourcing opportunities.
  
  
  • Work with internal teams to align on seasonal sourcing needs and timelines.
  
  
  
  


• Quality Control & Compliance
  
  
  
  • Work with suppliers to implement quality control processes and resolve any production issues.

  • Stay updated on industry regulations to ensure compliance with ethical and environmental standards.
    
  
  
  
  


• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  
  
  
  • Work closely with Product Development, Design, Merchandising, and Logistics teams to ensure.
  
  
  •  Keep teams informed on supplier capabilities, material availability, and production status.
  
  
  • Support internal stakeholders with data and reports on supplier performance and cost analysis a smooth workflow.
  
  
  
  

Qualifications, Experience, Skills

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing within the sportswear, activewear, or apparel industry.


• Strong supplier network in China, Hong Kong, and key sourcing regions.


• Knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment construction for premium activewear.


• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PLM, and sourcing tools.


• Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese (preferred).


• Willingness to travel 30% time on average, within GCC+, Europe & Asia as required.
