Key Responsibilities

• Conduct surgical procedures on patients with various cardiac conditions, including but not limited to, coronary bypass surgery, heart valve repair, and transplant surgeries.
• Evaluate patients to determine appropriate treatment plans and surgical pathways.
• Engage with cardiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
• Monitor and manage post-operative recovery, addressing any complications or concerns.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, and post-surgical requirements.
• Stay abreast of advancements in cardiac surgery and contribute to clinical research and education initiatives within the institution.

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school, with a focus on Cardiac Surgery.
• Board certification in Cardiac Surgery.
• Valid medical license to practice in the UAE.
• Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in complex cardiac surgical procedures within a reputable healthcare facility.
• Strong knowledge of current cardiac health practices, technologies, and surgical techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction.
• A proactive approach to patient care with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
