Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex heart conditions through advanced surgical interventions.
• Perform a variety of cardiac surgical procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafting, heart valve repair/replacement, and transplant surgeries.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care, ensuring optimal recovery and addressing any complications.
• Engage in patient education and support, helping patients and their families understand surgical procedures and recovery processes.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing surgical outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in cardiac surgery and adhere to best practices and government regulations.

Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent medical degree with valid certification in Cardiac Surgery.
• Completion of residency and fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Demonstrated experience in performing complex cardiac surgeries in a clinical setting.
• In-depth knowledge of cardiovascular health, surgical techniques, and patient management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient counseling.
• Adept at managing high-pressure situations in a dynamic healthcare environment.
