Specialist / Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon

We are currently seeking a Specialist / Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide expert care in diagnosing and treating complex cardiovascular conditions.

In this pivotal role, you will deliver advanced surgical interventions, contribute to patient care strategies, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive comprehensive support throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients presenting with cardiovascular issues.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and interpret imaging studies to develop treatment plans.
• Perform complex cardiovascular surgeries including coronary artery bypass grafts, heart valve replacements, and other specialized procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education, training, and research activities in the field of cardiovascular surgery.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of residency in general surgery.
• Completion of a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery.
• Board certification in cardiovascular surgery is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in performing complex cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-stakes medical environment.
