Specialist / Consultant Pediatric Dentistry

As a Specialist/Consultant Pediatric Dentist, your primary focus will be the oral health of infants, children, and adolescents. You will employ your expertise to diagnose and treat dental issues while ensuring an engaging and friendly atmosphere that encourages children to develop healthy oral hygiene habits.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough dental examinations for pediatric patients
• Diagnose dental issues and design effective, patient-oriented treatment plans
• Carry out preventive and restorative dental procedures, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and fillings
• Utilize behavior management techniques to help children feel comfortable during appointments
• Educate parents and children on proper oral hygiene and preventive measures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participate in continuing education initiatives to stay updated on advancements in pediatric dentistry

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) accredited degree
• Completion of an accredited pediatric dental residency program
• Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry is preferred
• Current dental license and good standing in the state of practice
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency in pediatric dental care
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly with children and their families
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with young patients
• Detail-oriented and committed to high ethical standards in practice
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Passion for fostering a positive dental experience for children
