Specialist / Consultant Podiatrist

In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating conditions related to the feet and lower extremities, playing a key part in enhancing patients' mobility and overall well-being.

As a Specialist/Consultant Podiatrist, you will work closely with patients to assess their foot health, recommend appropriate treatments, and perform any necessary surgical procedures. You will also collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients' foot and ankle conditions
• Diagnose a wide range of podiatric disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
• Perform non-surgical treatments, such as splinting and orthotic fittings, as well as surgical interventions when necessary
• Educate patients on foot care practices, prevention strategies, and the importance of proper footwear
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and improved outcomes
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records
• Stay updated with advancements in podiatric medicine and participate in professional development activities

• Medical degree and board certification in Podiatry
• State licensure to practice as a Specialist/Consultant Podiatrist
• Experience in diagnosing and treating diverse foot and ankle conditions
• Proficiency in performing both surgical and non-surgical podiatric treatments
• Strong understanding of podiatric anatomy and biomechanics
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
