As a Specialist in Emergency Medicine at a Government Healthcare Facility, you will be instrumental in delivering timely and effective emergency interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and evaluate patients with emergency medical conditions in a timely manner
• Perform emergency procedures and provide critical care interventions
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging tests
• Stabilize critically ill or injured patients and initiate appropriate treatment plans
• Document patient care and maintain comprehensive medical records
• Coordinate care with other medical and allied health professionals
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-emergency care
• Participate in training and development programs aimed at improving emergency services

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with appropriate licensure to practice in the healthcare jurisdiction
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in emergency medicine, preferably within government healthcare facilities
• Proficiency in emergency procedures and advanced life support techniques
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Valid certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends
