In this position, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of emergency medical conditions, facilitating immediate treatment, and stabilizing critically ill patients. Your expertise and prompt decision-making will be essential within a collaborative team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients effectively based on clinical urgency
• Perform lifesaving procedures and administer interventions based on established protocols
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies as necessary
• Stabilize patients in emergency situations, ensuring optimal outcomes
• Communicate treatment plans clearly with patients, families, and nursing staff
• Document all patient interactions and care accurately in medical records
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to keep abreast of advancements in emergency medicine

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a valid license to practice in your jurisdiction
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine is required
• At least 3-5 years of experience in an emergency department setting
• Proficient in performing advanced emergency medical procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to make rapid decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-stress environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
• Current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed
