Specialist Gastroenterology

We are looking to hire a Specialist Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic medical team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care tailored to their needs.

As a Specialist/Consultant Gastroenterologist, you will be involved in performing advanced endoscopic procedures, crafting individualized treatment plans, and delivering education to patients and their families. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and contribute to our mission of promoting health and wellness in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients presenting with gastrointestinal disorders through comprehensive evaluations.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures with a focus on patient safety and outcomes.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient assessments and evidence-based guidelines.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
• Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in gastroenterology.
• Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

• Medical degree with completion of a residency in Gastroenterology
• Board certification in Gastroenterology is required
• Valid medical license to practice in the jurisdiction
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience
• Proficiency in performing endoscopic and other advanced gastroenterological procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
