Specialist Pediatric Surgeon - Government Healthcare Group

SearchPlus HR is pleased to collaborate with the Government Healthcare Group in seeking a Specialist Pediatric Surgeon. This role involves providing expert surgical care to pediatric patients across government healthcare facilities, ensuring high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

As a Specialist Pediatric Surgeon within the Government Healthcare Group, you will be responsible for managing complex pediatric surgical cases, from diagnosis through to postoperative care. You will contribute to multidisciplinary clinical teams and participate in healthcare initiatives aimed at improving pediatric surgical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide surgical treatment for pediatric patients within government healthcare settings
• Perform a broad range of pediatric surgical procedures adhering to established protocols and guidelines
• Provide comprehensive postoperative care and monitor patients’ recovery progress
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated patient management
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and research activities
• Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff and healthcare professionals

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical degree with valid full registration and licensure in the relevant jurisdiction
• Specialist qualifications in Pediatric Surgery recognized by the Government Healthcare Group
• Completed accredited training including Pediatric Surgery residency and fellowship
• Demonstrated experience in performing pediatric surgical procedures in a clinical setting
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and public healthcare service
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Experience in clinical research, quality assurance, or medical education is an advantage
• Ability to work within the standards and regulations of government healthcare frameworks
