Specialist Rheumatologist

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Rheumatologist to diagnose and manage patients with autoimmune, inflammatory, musculoskeletal, and rheumatic diseases. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical expertise and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and rheumatological assessments.
• Diagnose and manage autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
• Treat conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, vasculitis, and connective tissue disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigations.
• Interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and other relevant investigations.
• Monitor disease activity and treatment response and adjust medications accordingly.
• Manage patients receiving immunosuppressive and biologic therapies.
• Perform joint and soft-tissue injections where appropriately trained.
• Provide long-term follow-up and preventive care for chronic rheumatological conditions.
• Collaborate with orthopedics, physiotherapy, dermatology, nephrology, and other specialties when required.
• Educate patients regarding disease management, medications, lifestyle modifications, and prognosis.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD / DNB / MRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Rheumatology.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience in diagnosing and managing complex rheumatological conditions.
• Excellent clinical judgment and patient-management skills.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
