Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' transfusion requirements and clinical needs
• Oversee and manage blood transfusions, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to design effective treatment plans for transfusion patients
• Educate patients and their families regarding the transfusion process, potential risks, and post-care
• Engage in regular audits and quality assurance measures within the transfusion service
• Stay current with advancements and best practices in transfusion medicine and general practice
• Maintain precise documentation and medical records in alignment with regulatory requirements
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives in the field of transfusion medicine

• Medical degree with valid licensing to practice as a General Practitioner
• Specialization or fellowship training in Transfusion Medicine is strongly preferred
• Experience in managing transfusion practices and patient care
• Comprehensive knowledge of blood transfusion protocols and safety measures
• Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient engagement
• Ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Working Time is Full Time.

Salary is AED 55K TO AED 90K (Specialist, Consultant).
