Specialist/Consultant Oral Medicine

SearchPlus HR is excited to announce a key opportunity for a Specialist/Consultant in Oral Medicine to join our team. In this role, you will be tasked with providing expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing patient health and well-being through comprehensive oral care.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical examinations and assessments of patients with oral conditions.
• Diagnose oral diseases and develop effective, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Utilize diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests to inform clinical decision-making.
• Perform oral surgical procedures such as biopsies and lesion removals when necessary.
• Provide consultative support to other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care methods.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in oral medicine.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) with specialization in Oral Medicine.
• Active and valid license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in oral medicine, with a focus on diagnostics and patient management.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in the management of oral diseases.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to advancing clinical knowledge and improving patient care through ongoing education.
