Specialist/Consultant Pain Medicine

In this essential role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive evaluation and management of patients suffering from chronic and acute pain conditions. Your expertise will be key in developing personalized treatment plans that employ both pharmacological and interventional strategies, aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients’ pain issues and medical histories.
• Develop and implement individualized pain management plans tailored to each patient’s unique situation.
• Perform interventional procedures, including nerve blocks and other pain management techniques.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families regarding pain management options and effective self-care practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted medical license.
• Completion of residency training in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine, or a related specialty.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine highly preferred.
• Substantial experience in pain management and treatment modalities.
• Strong understanding of pain assessment techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a team.
