Specialist/Consultant Pediatric Dentistry

As a Specialist Consultant Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of dental issues unique to infants, children, and adolescents. Your skills and knowledge will help educate families about the importance of oral health and instill good habits from an early age.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed dental examinations and assessments for children
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs
• Administer preventive and restorative dental procedures, including fillings and cleanings
• Utilize behavior management techniques to create a stress-free treatment environment
• Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry practices
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote pediatric dental health awareness

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD)
• Completion of an accredited pediatric dental residency program
• Board certification in Pediatric Dentistry
• Active dental license in the state of practice
• Experience working with pediatric patients and a strong understanding of their unique needs
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with children
