Specialist/consultant Pediatric ER-Government Facility

SearchPlus HR is pleased to announce a unique opportunity for a Specialist/Consultant in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at a government facility. We are looking for a committed and talented pediatrician to join our team, providing critical emergency care to children in a public health setting.

In this role, you will play an essential part in managing pediatric emergencies, ensuring that young patients receive prompt and appropriate care in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will not only impact the health of individual patients but also contribute to the public health mission of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct timely assessments and provide emergency interventions for children experiencing acute medical conditions or traumatic injuries
• Develop and implement treatment plans while collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and their families about health issues, treatment options, and preventative care
• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records in accordance with government regulations
• Participate in community outreach programs aimed at promoting pediatric health and safety
• Support and mentor medical staff and residents within the pediatric emergency department
• Engage in continuous learning and participate in professional development activities relevant to pediatric emergency care

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is preferred
• Minimum of [X years] experience working in a Pediatric Emergency Room or similar acute care role
• Strong understanding of pediatric emergency protocols and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and families
