Specialist/Consultant Pediatric ER-Private Healthcare Sector

We are currently seeking a Specialist/Consultant Pediatric ER physician to join the private healthcare sector. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in providing emergency medical care to children and adolescents in urgent situations.

Your expertise and quick decision-making skills will be critical in assessing and managing a wide range of medical emergencies. You will work within a collaborative team environment, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for pediatric patients facing urgent health challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate assessment and management of pediatric patients in the emergency room (ER).
• Handle a variety of acute medical conditions, including trauma, respiratory distress, and infections.
• Prescribe necessary medications and initiate appropriate diagnostic tests based on the patient's condition.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and emergency procedures.
• Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records as per regulations and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with pediatric emergency medicine advancements.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and provide mentorship to junior medical staff when necessary.

• Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Specialist/Consultant Pediatric ER physician.
• Completion of residency training in Pediatrics, with a focus on emergency medicine or relevant fellowship experience.
• Extensive experience in managing emergency medical situations involving pediatric patients.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric emergency protocols, practices, and treatments.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to make swift decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Outstanding communication skills for effective interactions with children, parents, and medical colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a busy ER environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and safety.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a fast-paced caseload efficiently.

Working Time is Full Time.

Salary is AED 45K TO AED 90K
