Position: Specialist/Consultant Stroke Medicine

SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced and dedicated Specialist/Consultant in Stroke Medicine to join our healthcare team. In this important role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and providing treatment for patients who are affected by stroke and related cerebrovascular disorders. Your expertise will help shape the quality of care provided and advance the multidisciplinary approach to stroke management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose patients presenting with stroke symptoms in acute and chronic settings.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, rehab specialists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on stroke prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery options.
• Participate in clinical research projects and stay updated on the latest advancements in stroke medicine.
• Provide mentorship and training for junior medical staff and allied health professionals.
• Contribute to the development of stroke care protocols and best practices within the organization.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Stroke Medicine or a closely related specialty.
• Significant clinical experience in managing stroke patients and cerebrovascular diseases.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to interpret a variety of diagnostic tests.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
• Commitment to ongoing education and improvement in clinical practices.
• Research and publications in stroke-related topics are strongly preferred.
