About the Role

The Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon will provide expert surgical diagnosis and treatment for patients with complex conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions. You will perform advanced surgical procedures including trauma management, corrective jaw surgery, dental implant surgeries, and facial reconstruction. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care in a leading hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and diagnostics for complex oral and maxillofacial cases
• Develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Perform advanced surgical procedures including orthognathic surgery, trauma repair, and reconstructive surgeries
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care to ensure optimal recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including dentists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery
• Participate in clinical training, mentoring, and research activities as required

• Extensive experience in complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma management, orthognathic and reconstructive surgery
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team collaboration
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment

• Licensure and registrations as required by the relevant medical/dental boards
