SR. ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER

Job Summary

KN International is seeking a Sr. Architectural Engineer to support the client in supervising, coordinating, and ensuring quality and compliance of residential villas and associated infrastructure construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive construction supervision experience in the UAE or a similar environment, with strong technical expertise, leadership, and client communication skills.

The role involves providing technical oversight, monitoring contractor performance, implementing quality and safety standards, and managing architectural works from mobilization through handover and the defects liability period.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the technical execution and supervision of assigned residential and infrastructure projects.
  
• Provide senior -level site supervision and guidance for architectural works, including residential villas, external works, landscaping interfaces, and related infrastructure components.
  
• Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with IFC drawings, architectural specifications, authority standards, and contractual obligations.
  
• Monitor contractor activities, assess work quality, and report non -conformances (NCRs).
  
• Review and verify contractor submissions, including architectural shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, mock -ups, samples, as -built drawings, and O&M manuals.
  
• Conduct site inspections and ensure architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, authorities, utilities, consultants, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  
• Implement and enforce HSE requirements, safe working practices, and environmental controls.
  
• Support project controls, including progress tracking, reporting, and coordination meetings.
  
• Assist in handover, snagging, final inspections, and monitoring during the defects liability period.
  
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, site records, and inspection logs.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  
• Professional Engineering or Architectural registration in the UAE is preferred.
  
• Minimum 10 years of relevant construction supervision experience in the UAE or a similar environment.
  
• Previous experience with Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) projects preferred.
  
• Strong leadership, team coordination, and client -facing skills.
  
• Excellent technical knowledge of architectural construction, finishing works, building materials, and detailing.
  
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
  
• In -depth knowledge of UAE local regulations, codes, authority requirements, and industry standards.
  
• Proven track record in managing and delivering large -scale residential villa and infrastructure projects.
  
• Willingness to work on remote sites in Liwa, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi.
