Storekeeper Cum Foreman

About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory management, be proficient in using attendance management software, and be capable of handling various documentation tasks. Additionally, the Storekeeper will be responsible for correspondence with Head Office regarding manpower and daily reporting of employee tasks in the factory. The Storekeeper will maintain inventory records, ensure accurate stock levels, manage store operations, and utilize software tools for tracking attendance and managing documentation efficiently.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory items.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies in inventory records.
• Utilize attendance management software to track and record employee attendance.
• Generate attendance reports from attendance machine and identify patterns or issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions and inventory movements.
• Prepare and manage documents related to shipping, receiving, and inventory.
• Ensure proper filing and archiving of all documentation.
• Prepare and submit regular manpower reports to management.
• Track and report on workforce allocation and utilization.
• Monitor labor efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
• Experience in joinery and soft furnishings would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in using attendance management software and inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
