Strategy Analyst (Government/Public Sector exp. required)

MCG Talent is seeking for an Analyst with deep expertise in public sector policy and strategy with world-class marketing practitioners who have years of experience building brands and executing resonant global campaigns.

What you will do in your role:

• Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ business, competitors, and audiences
• Perform macroenvironmental analyses (across a range of sectors and industries), benchmark competitor performance, and use multiple tools and methods to generate deep insights to support program strategy, brand communication strategy or policy formation.
• Support in designing primary research proposals and formulating research plans.
• Extract the most relevant findings from your research to deliver actionable insights and takeaways that can inform impactful strategies.
• Formulate positioning directions, brand architecture solutions, messaging, program objectives and other strategic recommendations
• Deliver comprehensive strategic documents with the close support and oversight of a senior strategist
• Work with creative directors and policy directors to support in the development of impact initiatives and policies.

Requirements:

• Adept at leveraging strategic frameworks such as SWOT and PESTEL analyses to analyze an entity’s internal capabilities and its external environment.
• Ability to perform in-depth qualitative analysis by connecting various pieces of information, identifying patterns and forming a clear chain of logic to present a compelling story.
• Strong writing skills—narrative, appealing, succinct. Should be able to convey complex research ideas in a simpler way through your writing
• Ability to follow brand / design guidelines and prepare easy to digest, visually appealing professional PowerPoint presentations and word documents. using strong writing and visual storytelling skills
• Ability to create and validate hypotheses.
• Ability to create clear research briefs to guide strategic input from team members or third-party experts.
