Position: Architecture and Engineering Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $85–$93/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: ~20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance in architecture and civil/structural engineering.
• Produce original problem sets using plans, sections, load diagrams, and site imagery.
• Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
• Annotate tasks to enhance AI model outputs and ensure accuracy.
• Work independently with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines and improve task quality.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• PhD in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or Licensed PE/RA with 3+ years of practice, or BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering with 5+ years of design or construction experience.
• Working fluency in at least two of: structural analysis, building systems, site/transportation engineering, or architectural design.
• Comfortable reading construction drawings, structural details, and architectural plans.

Preferred

• Prior teaching, code consulting, or technical publishing experience.
