Structural Engineer

Job Summary

Pearl City Construction is currently looking to hire Structural Engineer that has experience providing Structural Design for various projects.

Job Role includes but not limited to:

• Capable in the design of Hollow core slab, shoring system, PT-slab systems, culvert, and retaining walls etc. using software’s such as WALLAP, REWARD, ADAPT, RAM CONCEPT, and CONCISE BEAM.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and BIM technology (Revit structure)
• Monitor overall productivity and efficiency of the projects, forecast trends and anticipate potential problems and difficulties meeting milestones or budget, coordinate with Head of Department, Management, Projects Managers and all supervised staff to resolve problems
• Coordination with other disciplines and Authorities.
• Take the lead in structural design engineering and keeping up to date with new developments.
• Strong in the seismic and wind analysis for the mid to high-rise concrete buildings in compliance with American Code using software’s like ETABS, SAFE and SAP2000.
• Well verse in the complete analysis and design of structural steel in compliance with American code and British codes using software’s such as SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc.
• Structural Design approval and other operations related to legal formalities in Municipality and in relevant authorities.
• Travel to assigned sites and cater to site inspections according to contractual demands.
• Technical Report Writing and other relevant official correspondence with Client / Project Managers.
• Assist HR in technical interviews during recruitment of staff in Structural engineering department.
• Keep on learning skills as per modern practices in the relevant field and update other disciplines organization wide.

Qualification/ Experience

Minimum of 8 years’ experience with Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Engineering (Civil / Structural Engineering).
