Structural Steel Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Steel Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Structural Steel Design, with specific expertise in Steel Connection Design. The role involves working closely with Consultants and Fabrication as well as Erection teams to develop safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural steel design and Connections solutions for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and Design of Steel Structures and Steel connections Design in accordance with AISE & Euro Codes.
• Technical Coordination and meetings with Consults until obtaining approvals for the Design/Connections Design Calculations and Shop Drawings
• Review Shop drawings and models to ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Collaborate with design, detailing, and fabrication teams to resolve technical queries.
• Prepare and verify design calculations, connection sketches, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project specifications.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and erection stages.
• Optimize design solutions for material efficiency and constructability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in Structural Steel Design & Steel Connection Design.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in IdeaStatica, ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro.
• Strong understanding of design codes such as AISC, Euro & Local UAE Minimality Regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
