Systems Administrator

We have an urgent requirement for Systems Administrator – UNIX and Storage (Linux) with experience in banking domain is  required for our banking clients in Abu Dhabi, UAE

 Administer UNIX/Linux servers, partitions, file systems, LVM, and enterprise storage (SAN/NAS), ensuring reliability and scalability.-- Must
Monitor system health, optimize performance, apply security hardening, and manage backup/disaster recovery strategies.- Must
Develop scripts for automation, troubleshoot issues, and provide documentation and support for IT operations.-- Must

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing UNIX and Linux-based storage environments. This role ensures high availability, performance, and security of enterprise systems while supporting mission-critical applications.
 Key Responsibilities
System administration: Install, configure, and maintain UNIX/Linux servers.
Storage management: Administer SAN/NAS, LVM, and file systems (ext4, XFS, Btrfs).
Performance monitoring: Use tools like top, iostat, vmstat, and sar to optimize system performance.
Backup and recovery: Implement disaster recovery strategies and ensure data integrity.
Security hardening: Apply patches, manage user access, and enforce compliance standards.
Automation: Develop scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible) to streamline operations.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and storage-related issues.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of configurations, procedures, and policies.
