Technical Lead Cards & Syndicated Loans

We have an urgent requirement for Technical Lead corporate banking with experience in implementation  – Cards & Syndicated Loans  is required for our banking client in Abu Dhabi, UAE

Seeking Tech Lead profile  with implentation experience deep Corporate Cards and Syndicated Loans expertise to lead end-to-end technical design, platform ownership, and banking technology delivery.

Strong experience in Corporate Cards and Syndicated Loans---Must

Strong experience on designing end-to-end scalable solutions (API, microservices, integrations) MUST

Strong experience on Corporate Card platforms (Visa/Mastercard issuer systems) and Syndicated Loan systems (e.g., Loan IQ) is THE MUST

Strong experience on corporate Banking domain is MUST

Role Purpose

Lead technical design, system delivery, and production support for Corporate Cards and Syndicated Loans platforms. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, manage vendors and teams, and ensure secure, compliant, and high-quality system delivery.

Mandatory Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Information Systems


• Minimum 2 years in a managerial/lead capacity managing applications/systems


• Proven experience managing production systems and application support


• Hands-on experience in end-to-end technology project delivery


• Experience managing external vendors and development teams

Mandatory Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent


• PMP / Prince2 certification OR


• ITIL certification or equivalent

Mandatory Domain Expertise

• Corporate Cards lifecycle (issuance, settlement, reconciliation, reporting)


• Syndicated Loans (agency functions, drawdowns, repayments, interest/fee processing)


• Strong understanding of Corporate Banking products


• Knowledge of AML, KYC, IFRS, Basel, and data privacy regulations


• Banking operations including GL posting, reconciliation, and settlement

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Experience with Corporate Card platforms (Visa, Mastercard, issuer systems)


• Experience with Syndicated Loan systems (e.g., Loan IQ)


• API design and integration frameworks


• Microservices architecture


• Database design and data modelling


• Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices


• Strong understanding of:
