    • Firewater demand calculations and hydraulic studies

    • Active and passive fire-protection requirements

    • Safety equipment layouts

    • Hazardous-area classification drawings

    • Escape-route and lifesaving-equipment layouts

    • Safety-critical equipment and performance standards

  • Provide technical safety input to plot plans, equipment layouts, process design, piping, electrical, instrumentation, telecom, HVAC, and structural engineering.

  • Review PFDs, P&IDs, cause-and-effect diagrams, shutdown philosophies, control narratives, and equipment specifications from a safety perspective.

  • Lead and coordinate Technical Safety Engineers, specialist consultants, subcontractors, and safety-study facilitators.

  • Review vendor documentation and ensure safety requirements are incorporated into packaged equipment and purchased systems.

  • Act as the primary technical safety focal point with the client, classification authorities, certification bodies, and other project stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client specifications, project requirements, international codes, and applicable ADNOC engineering standards.

  • Participate in design reviews, model reviews, constructability reviews, technical audits, risk assessments, and management-of-change activities.

  • Support construction and commissioning teams in resolving technical safety queries, deviations, punch items, and field-design changes.

  • Monitor technical safety deliverables, engineering hours, schedule, priorities, and reporting.

  • Ensure technical safety documentation is complete and approved for project handover.
