Technician - Electrical

Position: SMATV Technician (Satellite Master Antenna Television)

Job Summary:
Responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of SMATV, MATV, IPTV, and related communication systems within residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use facilities. The role ensures uninterrupted television signal distribution and optimum performance of associated headend and network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of SMATV/MATV systems.
• Troubleshoot signal quality, channel distribution, and reception issues.
• Maintain satellite dishes, antennas, amplifiers, splitters, and headend equipment.
• Conduct signal testing and system performance verification.
• Attend service requests and emergency breakdown calls.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and system faults.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and technical standards.

Requirements:

• ITI in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SMATV/MATV system maintenance.
• Knowledge of RF distribution systems and signal measurement equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
