Job Description - Technician Painter / Polisher

Job Summary

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Carry out skilled Painting and polishing as directed. He may be called upon to perform any other duties as instructed by his superiors
Carry out repairs and maintenance and installation work as directed which reflect the standard of Hotel
Organize work in a skilled and professional manner
Select the correct materials from the Engineering store
Advise Supervisor/Team leader promptly of any problems
Ensure safe working conditions for yourself and colleagues
Ensure that work areas are left in a safe and tidy condition
Work on own initiative without full supervision or direction
Ensure that the par level stock is maintained for the fast moving items related to your trade, in the stores
Be familiar and comply with all relevant Engineering Departmental Policies, Process and Procedures
Knowledge of Building Management System
Knowledge of basics of engineering drawing
