QUINTESSENTIAL is currently seeking a passionate and motivated Information Technology (IT) Professional to join our team. As part of QUINTESSENTIAL, you will contribute to developing, managing, and ensuring effectiveness of IT infrastructure within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage computer software and hardware systems.
• Perform software installations and ensure proper functioning of the hardware and software components in the organization.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the IT department and facilitate smooth internal operations.
• Perform routine checks and upgrades to ensure optimal working of the IT systems.
• Provide user support and resolve IT-related problems to ensure user-efficiency.
• Develop and maintain IT policies and systems to support the strategies of the organization.
• Coordinate IT-related projects to ensure effectiveness and timely completion.
• Control and monitor data access and backup systems to ensure data recovery and prevent unauthorized data access.
• Ensure network security by setting up firewalls and password protection.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience in an IT department or similar environment.
• Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
• Knowledge of data backup/recovery; firewall technologies; and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage personnel and develop good team relationships.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
