Test Lead - (English & Arabic)

We are looking for a Test Lead who is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance and Testing function across the Bank's technology landscape, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, secure, and compliant software solutions. The role drives the end-to-end testing strategy, governance, and execution for all IT initiatives while establishing and enforcing quality standards, testing best practices, and automation frameworks. By collaborating with business, technology, and delivery teams, the Test Lead ensures timely releases with minimal production defects, optimizes testing efficiency, and strengthens the Bank's quality engineering capabilities to support its digital transformation objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise-wide test strategies, governance frameworks, and quality standards for banking technology initiatives.
• Strong domain knowledge in Banking and Financial Services, specifically covering Core Banking (Temenos T24 preferred), Trade Finance, Cash Management, and Digital Banking
• Lead end-to-end testing delivery across functional, integration, regression, performance, security, SIT, and UAT phases.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, banking standards, and quality gates throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Manage test planning, execution, defect lifecycle, requirements traceability, test environments, and test data readiness.
• Drive AI/LLM and OCR testing, including validation of model accuracy, guardrails, security, observability, resilience, and enterprise integrations.
• Leverage GenAI and Agentic AI to enhance test case generation, regression automation, and overall testing efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing QA, domain, and automation testing teams while managing resource planning and capacity.
• Drive test automation adoption and CI/CD integration to improve quality, accelerate releases, and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor quality metrics, risks, defects, and release readiness through executive dashboards and governance reporting.
• Collaborate with business, technology, vendors, and leadership teams to resolve testing issues and ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage third-party testing partners and ensure adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize testing processes, enhance quality, and reduce the overall cost of quality.

• 7+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance within the banking or financial services industry.
• At least 5+ years of experience in a Test Manager or QA Leadership role, overseeing large-scale banking transformation projects.
• Proven experience in establishing or maturing a Testing Center.
• Demonstrated success in managing offshore/onshore testing teams and third-party vendors.
• Hands-on quality assurance experience on LLM or Generative AI platforms, covering prompt behaviour, guardrails, and multi-model routing.
• Experience testing OCR or intelligent document-processing solutions against ground-truth benchmarks in an enterprise environment.
• Experience validating AI platform cost, usage, and observability controls, including token accounting, cost attribution, and audit logging
