Job Title: Tile Fixer

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring skilled Tile Fixers for a reputable construction and maintenance company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying, cutting, and fixing ceramic, porcelain, marble, and other types of tiles on floors, walls, and surfaces. Precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow construction plans are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and mark surface layout based on drawings and tile design plans.
  




• Cut tiles to size using hand-cutters or power tools such as wet saws or grinders.
  




• Apply adhesives, mortar, and grout properly to install tiles.
  




• Lay tiles accurately in patterns or designs on floors, walls, and ceilings.
  




• Level tiles and ensure alignment and spacing using spacers and leveling tools.
  




• Remove and replace broken or damaged tiles and repair imperfect installations.
  




• Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, or applying waterproof membranes.
  




• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  




• Follow all site safety standards, especially when working with tools and adhesives.
  




• Maintain tools and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Tile Fixer (Gulf experience preferred).
  




• Proven skills in cutting, measuring, and fixing all types of tiles (ceramic, porcelain, marble, etc.).
  




• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tile layout plans.
  




• Experience in grouting and waterproofing techniques.
  




• Physically fit and capable of lifting, kneeling, and working long hours.
  




• Basic communication skills (English, Hindi, or Urdu preferred).
  




• Knowledge of proper adhesive types, grouts, and sealants based on surface materials.
  




• Willing to work in different job sites and varying weather conditions.
