Job Description - Trade Marketing Supervisor

We are looking for a Trade Marketing Supervisor to join our team who can materialize all in-store and consumer support plans to be available on the ground and executed according to the agreed standards and guidelines ensuring continuity on enhanced progress and meeting KPIs of implementation and also execute Bayara pricing strategy and positioning (leader or challenger) per territory, channel, and category.

Job Description is as below.

Pricing

  • Assess competition segmentation & positioning.
  • Ensure Bayara positioning (leader or challenger) per territory, channel, and category.
  • Communicate & and update pricing policies.
  • Follow-up price survey collection with the Sales team
  • Update price recommendation as per policy and schedule, keeping in mind margin objectives (products & and packaging material)
  • Estimate margin, volume & value impacts.
  • Verify price execution with the sales team.
  • Prepare monthly reporting, KPIs and Index
  • Assist the Sales team with tenders' preparation.
  • Stay aware of raw material variations.

In-store communication execution of POSMs and Displays

  • Quantify all requirements for an in-store communication activity.
  • Initiate all needed requests related to an in-store activity with purchasing.
  • Cascade all required artworks to suppliers.
  • Collect and ensure alignment on production quotations from suppliers.
  • Handle samples to be delivered for marketing and quality to be approved.
  • Supervise production with suppliers to be available on time.
  • Coordinate delivery to merchandisers and implement on the ground.
  • Monitor and evaluate the execution of all in-store communication materials.
  • Design a sales kit presenter containing all elements and materials needed for an in-store communication activity.
  • Coordinate with all on-ground teams ensuring any required in-store demands are met, keeping the shelf and off-shelf presence up-to-date and within the standards of execution.

Promo manipulation

  • Track required promo volume forecast monthly.
  • Communicate the required promo volume forecast to the supply chain ensuring it is in line with the agreed activity sheet.
  • Quantify all packaging material requirements for promo volumes.
  • Cascade all required artworks to suppliers.
  • Initiate all needed requests related to promo packaging materials with purchasing.
  • Follow thorough to get the required approvals/feedback from all concerned stakeholders.
  • Ensure availability of all promo packaging material on time
  • Monitor planned v/s actual utilized budget and compare with category growth.
  • Post promo ROI analysis of all the promotions by chain and by country for top retailers.

Shelf Presence

  • Ensure all planograms are in line with the existing range and latest pack designs.
  • Set targets with the sales team on primary visibility by chain, category, and retailer.
  • Monitor the primary share of the shelf as per the set targets monthly.
  • Supervise and lead communicating planogram adjustments and updates to merchandisers.
  • Align with suppliers on all needed merchandising materials.
  • Update the sales force team with the latest pack designs.
  • Ensure the latest pack designs are implemented in all flyer presence images and social media.
  • Monitor and evaluate the execution of the planogram.
  • Cascade all required tools needed by the merchandising team to implement the in-store material.
  • Develop execution standards and guidelines when it comes to implementing in-store communication support for a specific campaign and/or an innovation.

Innovations

  • Prepare all required listing templates and communicate them to concerned stakeholders.
  • Dispatch all required listing samples to be delivered to the sales team.
  • Track listing status ensuring it is completed.

Analysis

  • Conduct periodic reports of all in-store executions implemented and analyze their impact on the business with quantifiable measurements.
  • Support the sales team for business review and JBP with the analysis.
  • Share market visit results and recommendations.

Coverage

  • Plan and monitor coverage by division, chain, and territory along with the sales team.
  • Assess and communicate the results as per the allocated budget.
  • Update the universe & and recommend the most relevant & and efficient customers to activate as per budget to optimize the potential sales.

Distribution

  • Numerical distribution check by division, category, chain, and territory (value/volume)
  • Highlight top & low performances to sales & marketing teams (category, sub-category, product group, top 10 top 50%, top 80%, channel, territory, chain…)
  • Compare category performance with sales and marketing reports to identify business opportunities.
  • Use the above tools to optimize the MSL recommendations and market gaps to cover.

E-Commerce

  • Monitor primary content by channel, by category on all major Ecommerce channels. Identify the gaps and highlight them to the commercial manager.
  • Monitor all listed products' availability by category on all major channels and highlight them to the commercial manager.
  • Propose the NPDs aligned with other channels for e-commerce and prepare a plan with the commercial manager.
  • Monitor coverage plan as per the given and validated plan from the sales team. Identify the customers at all levels Brick & Mortar, E-Retailors,
  • Monitor the availability of Bayara products in all categories at the top first page for top channels.
  • Monitor distribution v/s MSL as per the MSL plan and identify the gaps to set the targets to achieve. Follow up with the sales team every month to achieve targets.
  • Prepare the guidelines to update the pictures library as per set standards and follow up to get the updates from all major channels.
  • Prepare yearly promotion plan with category managers and commercial managers by division, by channel, and by chain. Set the promotion targets by category and communicate to the supply chain after validating with the sales and marketing team.
  • Consolidate the number of product availability by top competition brands, for top channels.
  • Prepare the primary banners tracker by top channels, and by top competitor to monitor and compare Bayara banners.
  • Prepare the secondary budget by top e-commerce channels aligned with the commercial manager and monitor closely the actual consumption.
