The Role

• Accountable for delivering customized training and assessments to site-based crane operators, riggers, and banksman slingers, ensuring contractor personnel meet required competencies. 

• Accountable for conducting thorough practical and theoretical assessments, guaranteeing compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. 

• Accountable for evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of training programs, incorporating feedback to drive continuous improvement. 

• Accountable for collaborating with management to ensure training programs consistently align with EnerMech’s safety, quality, and operational standards. 

• Accountable for maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records and documentation in line with regulatory obligations and company policies. 

• Accountable for creating and sustaining a safe, positive, and effective learning environment for all trainees. 

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

• Responsible for delivering customized training and assessment of site-based crane operators/riggers/Banksman slingers employed by various contractors on site.  

• Conduct practical and theoretical assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

• Evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback for continuous improvement. 

• Collaborate with management to ensure all training programs align with EnerMech's safety, quality, and operational standards. 

• Maintain accurate training records and documentation as required by regulations and EnerMech policies. 

• Ensure that a safe and positive learning environment is created for all trainees. 

• Valid Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate (OPITO or equivalent) 

• Valid Stage 3 Banksman and Slinger Certification (OPITO or equivalent) 

• LEEA Foundation Course certification 

• Strong communication and presentation skills. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other training software tools. 

• Certification in Adult Learning or Training Instruction is preferred. 
• Proven experience in delivering crane operator and banksman slinger courses in an offshore environment, adhering to BS 2573/OPITO/LEEA or equivalent standards 
• Min 15 years of Offshore experience as a crane operator and trainer.
• Valid Offshore certification( OPITO BOSIET/OPITO IMIST- OEUK MEDICAL)
